Eric Fernando of Michigan is "floating on air" per the phone message
sister Diana left on my voicemail.  

Both Eric's training and racing indicated that he would be a major
factor in the race for Hawaii qualifying spots at Eagleman in 
Cambridge Maryland.

Though the voicemail was garbled Sunday evening, Eric was either
1st or 3rd in 30-34 and garnered a coveted Kona slot in the process.
Eric has improved in each of the 3 years we have now been working
together and should take pride that his is a name that age-group
contenders will be looking for when they toe a starting line.
