Spanning the country.... Jeff Anders from Madison, Wisconsin. Jeff is becoming my hero as he is not prepared to make any concessions to having recently entered his fifth decade of life. Consider that at age 40, Jeff in the past 3 weeks has finished: Iowa Pigman 500 participants, 18th overall and 2nd in age-group Elkhart Tri 700 participants, 15th overall and 1st in age-group A minimalist because of a challenging personal and work schedule, Jeff is making his training count. IM Wisconsin is on the medium-term horizon but all training has been geared to short course thus far. Terry Kerrigan Terry hails from Manhattan NY and is a student of the body, both its movement and its performance. Terry is a force in the area and finished 2nd overall at the long-running Montauk Olympic Tri. Tupper Lake Half IM and IM Canada are on Terry's competitive horizon. Kyle Welch Kyle was 2nd in his age-group, 40-44, here in Alcatraz. None other than Emilio Desoto bested Kyle for the win, but we will forgive Emilio this transgression given the great gear that he has produced over the years. Kyle hails from the South Bay and along with other M2 athletes Dave LeRoy, Gina Kehr, Dave Laberge, has formed a Tuesday night track group (they need to improve their pacing but are working on it). :)
